About the Album
Where silence meets rhythm, every heart carries a story waiting to be heard—a place where the timeless soul of Iranian music awakens within a contemporary sound. In my voice, you can hear both the roots of traditional Persian vocal music and the influence and inspiration I have drawn from other vocal styles and traditions.
Rooted in the ancient traditions of Iranian classical music, drawing from the modal worlds of Chahargah, Segah, Shooshtari , and Bayat-e Esfahan (Persian classical modes). this album brings them into dialogue with Deep House, Lo-fi elements, Bandari rhythms, Hard Rock, and Trip-hop.
The warm resonance of tar, setar, santur, kamancheh, ney-anban, oud, tombak, and quena flute, alongside Persian string orchestration, cinematic arrangements, and contemporary synthesizers, creates a sound rooted in the past while reaching toward the future.
